EPIC Summit at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Features Leaders from Ethanol, Racing and Environment

(Indianapolis, IN - May 24, 2007) - To celebrate the monumental use of 100 percent fuel-grade ethanol in the IndyCar® Series, along with ethanol’s historic first win of the Indy 500, the Ethanol Promotion and Information Council (EPIC), IndyCar Series, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Rahal Letterman Racing, have joined forces to present the Ethanol Summit. Attendees will hear about why ethanol was chosen to fuel the race cars of the IndyCar Series and the performance benefits that ethanol has proven on and off the track. In addition, speakers will discuss the future of ethanol production, its role in rural economic renaissance and energy independence, its ability to help impact global climate change and why consumers can play such an important and active role in America’s energy future.

Parking and Tickets:
The event is free and no tickets are needed. Gates open at 9:00 a.m. Please let the parking attendants know that you are coming for the Ethanol Summit and they will direct you to the correct parking lot (parking is also free). In addition, attendants will direct you to the entrance of the Speedway at Hospitality Village (just east of the Pagoda). Attendees will see the IndyCar Fan Zone, discover ethanol display as well as event signage in the North Pavilion infield.
