Land Rover LR3 Accepts Its Mission in Mission: Impossible III

IRVINE, Calif., May 2, 2006 – With energy-packed action and thrilling chase sequences, Land Rover’s LR3 accepts its mission: to protect Ethan Hunt from his enemies in Paramount Pictures’ highly anticipated action movie, "Mission: Impossible III."
Set to hit theaters nationwide on May 5, 2006, "M:i:III" focuses on Ethan Hunt’s most personal mission yet. In one of the film’s most incredible action sequences, Hunt gets assistance from the LR3 as he makes a courageous escape from his enemies.

"We see LR3 as the perfect fit for the film because it has a very strong presence on- and off-road," said Richard Beattie, executive vice president, Land Rover North America. "Apart from its outstanding handling and performance, the vehicle is also equipped with state-of-the-art technologies that complement the high-tech devices used in the film."

Paramount Pictures presents a Cruise|Wagner production, "Mission: Impossible III." The film is directed by J.J. Abrams and produced by Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner. The screenplay is written by Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci & J.J. Abrams, based on the television series created by Bruce Geller. The film stars Tom Cruise, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ving Rhames, Billy Crudup, Michelle Monaghan, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Keri Russell, Maggie Q, and Laurence Fishburne. The film is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of frenetic violence and menace, disturbing images, and brief sensuality.
