This Used RENAULT CARAVELLE A car for sale Gentleman‘s race car - Restored and lovingly cared for, this car is in excellent condition. THE ENGINE - Original 1600 replaced with a 1800 in 2006. - The 1800 engine is a professionally built, 5-bearing, blueprinted motor with electronic ignition, roller rockers, competition SU carbs, ceramic coated Gonzo racing pipes, rev limiter, electric fan and coupled to a new MGB 4-speed gear box. It goes like the clappers. - Imported into Australia from the UK during Expo 1988. - Originally driven as road car, then had a body-off chassis rebuild, which included replacing all rusted panels throughout, rewiring and full mechanical. - Rollbar, 3-Point Seatbelts & Fire Extinguisher. - In late 2010, the car again underwent restoration with back to the metal painting replaced with 2 pack paint.
