This Used CADILLAC DE VILLE CALAIS car for sale This Colonial Yellow 1969 Cadillac Calais pillarless 4-door sedan was built in California in April 1969 and has been in Australia for about 30 years, mostly in Canberra. It has a 472 cu in big block Cadillac motor (7.75 litres) and pulls away very quickly and powerfully. I bought it early 2005 from Canberra and registered it in the NT in May 2005. It is in excellent condition for it's 37 years of service. It has a black vinyl/velour interior with electric front bench seats. It is the original LHD (left hand drive). It has a 6-stacker trunk-mounted CD player with AM/FM radio, air conditioning (recently upgraded and repaired). It has 16" wheels with the original Cadillac hubcaps and a new set of white wall tyres. It has electric windows. It has the original sales brochure which shows the options for this model. I have driven this car around the Darwin area mainly to socialize and "cruise". It has also been to Adelaide River twice (300 kms round trip) and to Manton Dam once (200 kms round trip). I use Meguiar's Tech Wax to keep it looking excellent. It is always garaged. I use 95 Octane unleaded in it. It's a beautiful car. However, there are some scratches on the panels which would need to be filled and buffed out. Note: This car cannot be used as a commercial vehicle in the NT, because it is left hand drive. I am selling it to upgrade to another car.
