This Used PEUGEOT 504 GL Utility car for sale This is a genuine factory 1988 Peugeot 504 utility. The ute was imported to Australia from Manchester (England) in the late 90‘s. It was then fully restored with all rust cut out and properly repaired. The original ‘style side‘ tray was beyond repair so it was replaced with a custom made aluminium tray.The bonnet, doors & front guards were also replaced with brand new ones during the restoration, & the ute has been fish oiled/rust proofed every year since.

The interior is in as new condition. The original bench seat has been replaced with reupholstered Peugeot 504 ‘tombstone‘ seats. The dashboard is original and in excellent condition with only a minor crack above the ashtray. The headlining and carpeting was all new at time of restoration and is still in perfect order. The windows were tinted to help prevent sun damage.

The engine is the original 2.3 litre (non turbo) diesel with 5 speed manual transmission. It has been and still is well serviced and exceptionally reliable. The suspension was reconditioned during the restoration with new bushes, rubbers, bearings & new 505 GTi front dampers.

The paintwork colour is ‘Pale Grape‘ which is a Renault colour of the period. The paintwork is not concourse, but perfectly presentable and serviceable. The door apertures were painted in acrylic and are starting to flake a little.

The ute has been in my family since its restoration 8 years ago (first registered owners in Australia). It has been well maintained and always garaged. Now selling because we need the garage space.
