This Used JAGUAR XK8 car for sale A great addition to any car collection! There are a number of very good reasons for the price, those being it‘s pristine condition, it‘s desirability, it‘s low KMs having travelled less than 40,000 km at this time, it was produced late in the XK8 production run and therefore is quite a rare car in Australia! Plus the care that has been continuously lavished upon it! Although this two owner car is really a very prized keeper, it is for sale now only because the owner is nearing the age of 80, he and his wife have two cars but now need only one, that means it will be necessary for him to have a car with the passenger capacity of five. Regrettably it must go and so will the small second car, both to be replaced by an XF which has four doors and can comfortably carry five people, it is simply a change for future need! Convertibles are even more rare! In scanning through the advertisements it is clear that almost all are the earlier 4.0 litre cars and without exception have travelled many more KMs! This car is in impeccable condition inside and out. The 4.2 litre V8 is the updated and improved development of the original 4.0 litre engine. The design problems of the 4.0 litre engines were finally corrected with the introduction of the 4.2 litre engine. It‘s been very well looked after and serviced annually, even if the distance travelled was minimal. Service always included engine oil, filter. The current owner has been a car collector for many years, he is a retired motor engineer and has always carefully maintained this car. The brake fluid has been changed every two years, coolant was recently changed using genuine Jaguar orange coolant even at these low KMs. Leather food has been applied twice annually to all leather surfaces.
