For the ultimate SUV splendor, the ART designer have now turned their acknowledged skills to creating an interior and exterior that is both sporty and elegant, to enhance the power-packing chic of this vehicle.

The aerodynamics set for the front, sides, and back, upgrades the contours of this rugged vehicle, giving it a sleek individual look. Two different lamp sets are available as additional headlamp units: Halogen main / halogen fog, and Xenon main / halogen fog lamps.

The elegant side skirts are elegantally upgraded with lighted entry ledges with a light-blue back-lit ART logo that is presented when the doors are opened. Not only at night.

The striking rear skirt in conjunction with the four-pipe sports exhaust system in stainless steel with its highly polished chrome-plated 80mm tailpipes makes for a dynamic sporty flair. One right and one left rear muffler ensure the sound is right. This successful rear skirt solution makes the rear of the vehicle a focus of attention.

And under the hood: motor performance from ART. A supercharger kit is available for both the ML350 and ML500 for ML class gasoline engines, and includes an intercooler with heat exchanger, additional thermostat-controlled oil cooling, special v-belt, engine electronics, and Vmax delimiter. ML engines are boosted from 272 hp to 380 hp, and on the ML500, from 388 hp to 500 hp.

Diesel units 280 CDI, 320 CDI, and 420 CDI are boosted by 20% on average with a diesel power kit.

The electronic suspension system from ART for AIRMATIC lowers the ride height by 35mm. All other built-in chassis control functions remain unchanged. Only the speeddependent ride-height control is suppressed.

For the wheel concept, ART proposes the monoART1 light-weight metal rims in dimensions 18, 19, or 20 inches for the ML class. This individual choice of rims is multiplied by the range of three different surfaces:

The stylish three-part ARTstar2 light-weight metal rims are an equally good choice. With a 6-spoke design, with 36 titanium screw joints, inside valve, shiny-silver rim star and mirrorfinished rim base it is offered in size 22 inches for a perfectly optimized and luxurious appearance for this heavy vehicle.

To customize a car still further, it is possible to have the rim star painted in a special color, for example, the same color as the car.

The “F370” high-performance brake system tames the unit on the front axle with two milled six-piston aluminum brake calipers and two ventilated and cross-drilled rotors (370 mm diameter) including stainless steel braded hoses.

A wealth of upgrade features can be combined to enhance the appearance and comfort of the interior with exotic wood, Alcantara, leather, textile, and velvet carpets to meet the demands of the owner.

An ergonomically shaped multi-functional sports steering wheel with a perforated grip area in a leather and wood of your choice puts the final finish on any ART interior upgrade.
