Instead of technical facts, this time we want to tell you a (virtually) true story. It concerns Carolin Winter, who has chosen her dream car '“ an Audi A1. The elegant compact car has made an impression on her, but she doesn't want one 'off the shelf'. As a result she goes straight to ABT Sportsline at Daimlerstrasse 2 in Kempten (Germany), the first point of call when it comes to premium-tuned Audi vehicles.
It is precisely here that the reality movement, which ABT has developed additionally for its version of the A1, begins: at ABT Sportsline TV on YouTube (Direct link bit.ly/bXBguA) and via the Facebook site of ABT you can not only watch Carolin during her visit in Kempten, but you can also control her. And in the end she chooses the ABT A1 you like best - the Klecks, Aloha or High Voltage.
But let us go step after step of the way: Carolin enters the showroom and has a look around. If the user wishes, he/she can let her talk to the receptionist. By clicking the correct arrow on the screen the user can also make her sneak past reception, using a red ABT AS5 Sportback as "cover'. Carolin continues to stroll forwards until she reaches a closed door. Do you want to pass through or enjoy an espresso at the ABT Sportsbar? Maybe there won't just be a delicious drink here but you'll also find the A1 trio?
This much can be revealed now: when Carolin comes across the ABT A1, she has to hurry with her decision. A quick click on the arrow of the ABT A1 Klecks and Carolin is already driving off through Schwabing in a 'small red with an extra dash of colour". As finding a parking space is not a problem, she stops outside the Bavarian Parliament, the Maximilianeum and writes an e-mail on her notebook. Perhaps Carolin is already telling someone her decision? Meanwhile the user clicks on the arrow for the ABT A1 High Voltage. With Klecks' 'bad brother' it's off to the golf course.
The toxic ABT A1 suits these surrounding well, but you still have to click on the Aloha model. How else can you come to a decision? With the "easy going" version of the A1, Carolin invites you on a spontaneous short trip to Lake Ammersee, with a parasol of course. Each of these three clips, for each version of the ABT A1, shows the idea behind the design. All three provide maximum driving enjoyment, however, as they are real ABTs. You can now see what that means on YouTube and Facebook. A reality movement for three cars which are too beautiful to be left standing.
