The introduction of a new range of leather luggage heralds the start of a broader partnership between Bentley and Alfred Dunhill. The range possesses suppleness and strength, the two qualities that make it a delight to carry and a treasured possession that ages well. Both these essential qualities are found in the suitcases, weekend bag, briefcase and wash bag made exclusively for Bentley by Alfred Dunhill.

All the pieces have been designed in collaboration with Bentley’s design and styling team in head office, Crewe, Cheshire, and are handcrafted in brown natural grain leather, with a matching interior trim.

The clasps and fastenings have been designed exclusively to Bentley and feature a unique lock mechanism with knurled edges and inset ‘B’ black inlaid feet with knurled edge. They also have a ‘Bentley’ branded chromed zip pull and ‘Alfred Dunhill for Bentley’ embossed leather labels inside the bags.

The calf leather comes from ‘Bovillos’ - young, Spanish bulls in northeast Spain – reared by the Curtidos Badia family, a fourth-generation business that originally began making saddles in 1889. Today the company has diversified into handbag leathers.

The hardware is made in Italy by a specialist company that produces for other top luxury goods designers. The base material is brass coated in 0.50 micron palladium to give a bright silver finish.

There is a significant element of hand-stitching and finishing in all the pieces, which are unlike any others on offer in the market. They are in a contemporary colour and uniquely designed to appeal to people on the move – whether for business or leisure.

This exclusive and long-term partnership reflects the mutually comparable backgrounds of each company. Both were founded by British pioneers with long motoring heritages spanning two centuries. Alfred Dunhill himself owned and enthusiastically drove a 1924 Bentley 3 litre.

Both Bentley and Dunhill are internationally recognised for their high quality craftsmanship, use of materials and superb execution in the respective areas of expertise.

As part of the partnership and in recognition of Bentley’s position as the premium British luxury sporting automotive company, Dunhill will be exclusively offering Bentley cars at their new Homes of Alfred Dunhill in Tokyo, Shanghai and London.

Dunhill has commissioned a series of Bentley Continental Flying Spurs that will be on hand at the Homes for the customers' exclusive chauffeured use.'

This recognition of our position, and our partnership with Dunhill, gives Bentley the opportunity to present our unique company and cars to important new global customer markets and our commitment to these regions and our customers.
