The Lacetti SX features center high-mounted stop lamp, fully automatic air conditioning, and a leather steering wheel and gear knob cover as standard. Chrome-garnished door handles and a parking brake button provide additional style. The Lacetti SX with a manual transmission is priced at KRW 13.45 million.

"With its new amenities, the sporty Lacetti SX offers great value for its segment," said Rick LaBelle, GM Daewoo Vice President of Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing. "Besides strengthening GM Daewoo's compact lineup, we expect the Lacetti SX to help increase the popularity of hatchbacks in Korea." GM Daewoo is promoting the Lacetti SX through a variety of marketing initiatives including a promotion on a home shopping channel and various test-drive programs.

The GM Daewoo Lacetti compact has enjoyed success around the globe. The Lacetti became the best-selling Korean-built model in Europe in 2007, with 100,959 units shipped. The Lacetti finished first in its segment in the J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2007 India Initial Quality Study.
