The German company drew upon its decades of experience in motorsports as well as on its know-how as an exclusive supplier of the Porsche Supercup and Carrera Cup. This experience was of course also put to use in the development of the H&R suspension components for the new 911 Turbo of the 997 model range. H&R offers multiple levels of suspension tuning for the sports car from Zuffenhausen: The list of products starts with TRAK+ wheel spacers certified by the German Technical Inspection Agency (TÜV) for the standard wheels. The track enlargement of up to 46 millimeters per axle optimizes handling and further refines the sporty looks of the coupe. For lowering the sports car by about 20 millimeters, H&R offers progressive-rate springs matched to the standard shock absorbers in extensive driving tests on the renowned Nordschleife (north curcuit) of the Nürburgring racetrack. This setup combines an even more dynamic handling and maximum safety reserves. For further optimized turn-in and for reduced body roll in high-speed turns H&R offers sport sway bars manufactured from high-strength spring steel for the new Porsche Turbo. All H&R suspension components are developed and manufactured in accordance with the strict quality standards of the ISO 9001 norm and are certified by the German Technical Inspection Agency. H&R also offers sport suspensions, lowering springs and wheel spacers for all other Porsche models. |
