New Department of Energy Report Highlights Near-Term Markets for Fuel Cells

May 23, 2007 -- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recently issued a new report on the near-term markets for proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells.
The DOE report, entitled Identification and Characterization of Near-Term Direct Hydrogen PEM Fuel Cell Markets ( PDF 3.87 MB ), focuses on using fuel cells to power forklifts and provide backup power for telecommunications and emergency response radio towers.
