The Lancia Ypsilon Sport MomoDesign with its new, most powerful in the class, diesel engine presents a perfect blend of dynamism and elegance. It opens a new chapter in the long history of collaboration between the two famous Italian companies. Lancia and MomoDesign focused their efforts on creating a car that will stand out from the crowd with its unique styling utilizing the key ingredients of the Lancia's charm - elegance and attitude.

Lancia Ypsilon Sport MomoDesign was designed to appeal to young people looking for a car with sporty character, yet still, elegant and affordable. It has been fitted with lower suspension than the standard model, which makes the driving experience even more pleasurable. Disk brakes in front and rear were installed to always keep the fun under control.

The 1.3 Multijet 16V engine develops 105 hp at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 1750 rpm and is fitted with a 5-speed gearbox. The car will go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 10.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 177 km/h. Despite the car's performance to CO2 emission are kept low at 123 g/km and the fuel consumption is a modest 4.7 l/100 km.

Lancia Ypsilon Sport MomoDesign is also available with a petrol power plant, the 1.4 16v engine developing 95 hp and using a 6-speed automatic (with a sequential DFN gearbox also available). An environment-friendly DPF particulate filter equipped diesel - the 90 hp 1.3 Multijet 16v - is offered as well.

The Lancia Ypsilon Sport MomoDesign is fitted with a broad range of standard equipment which include: climate control, 'Dual Drive' electric power steering, Hi-Fi radio-CD player, remote control door opening and closing, perforated leather upholstery on the steering wheel and a special gear lever knob. To complement it's sporty appeal the Lancia Ypsilon Sport MomoDesign comes with diamond-effect burnished 16" alloys and color-coded twin electric wing mirrors. The keep the ride safe there is ABS complete with EBD, front and curtain airbags and an advanced ESP traction control system with ASR. Optional equipment include a sunroof, dual zone automatic climate control, a Bose® sound system and satellite navigator.

Lancia Ypsilon Sport MomoDesign will make its debut on the Italian market in mid June and is expected to gradually strengthen the Ypsilon range in other countries.
