From conceptual design, to manufacturing, to final product, Five Axis handles all their work under one roof. Troy Sumitomo graduated from the esteemed Art Center of Design with a BS in Automotive Design back in '92 and hasn't looked back. Learning the ropes at other fabrication companies, Troy eventually struck out on his own and started Five Axis in 1995. The name Five Axis derived from an actual computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) system. These 3D, five sided, computer programmable machines are setting the standard in the engineering field and is the weapon of choice for Troy and his company. Starting in a quaint 800 sq/ft locale in Santa Ana, Five Axis has grown into a 22,000 sq/ft metropolis in Huntington Beach, CA. From concept cars to one-off custom parts, if you can dream it, Five Axis can bring it to reality. Exterior
