Torrent blends the road manners of a car with the capabilities and versatility of an SUV in a fun-to-drive package that is perfect for families.

Torrent continues to expand the brand’s performance technologies with a host of safety, ride and convenience enhancements for 2007, including the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system, front and rear disc brakes, and tire pressure monitoring system.

Torrent is powered by a 3.4L V-6 that generates 185 horsepower (138 kW) and 210 lb.-ft. of torque (285 Nm) at 3800 rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission featuring multiple shift schedules that adapt to varied load conditions.
