General Motors of Canada Announces Pricing for the All-New 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and 2007 GMC Sierra Review

- Pickups will lead in all categoriesOshawa, Ontario (October 24, 2006) – The all-new 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and 2007 GMC Sierra will start at an MSRP of $31,790 for two-wheel drive extended cab models and $33,635 for the crew cab. The 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and 2007 GMC Sierra are offered with three cab styles, three cargo box lengths, eight efficient powertrain combinations, five distinct specially tuned suspensions and 2 unique interior treatments. All have distinct identities, including sheet metal and design cues, while sharing fundamental traits that support segment-leading efficiency, ride and handling, capability, safety, quality, refinement and performance.

2007 Chevrolet Silverado LT

“These trucks are better than the ones they replace in every way. Our customers will be impressed with the enhanced capability and refinement of these all new trucks,” said Mark Comeau, GM Canada’s vice president. “Many of the 2007 models have actually gone down in price, with some models receiving base price reductions well over $1,000. When you add this to the improved performance, reduced fuel consumption, the most features, configurations and capability in the business, these trucks set the high water mark for full-size trucks.”

The new 2007 Silverado and Sierra models also feature added standard equipment such as OnStar, a tire pressure monitoring system and Stabilitrak is standard on all crew cabs models. Like all GM vehicles, the new Sierra and Silverado feature the best coverage in the industry with GM Canada’s five-year / 160,000-kilometre powertrain warranty, which is fully transferable and includes courtesy transportation and roadside assistance for the duration of the powertrain warranty.
