General Motors to Provide Virginia with E85-Capable Chevrolet Tahoe to Promote E85 Ethanol Use in the Commonwealth

Plans Will be Announced for Future E85 Ethanol Fuel Locations at Retail Establishments Statewide

2006-10-13 -- General Motors will provide an E85-capable Chevrolet Tahoe to the Commonwealth of Virginia as part of a campaign to promote ethanol and E85-capable vehicles in the state. The E85 vehicle presentation is part of a campaign by GM and the Governors' Ethanol Coalition (GEC), a bipartisan group of governors devoted to the promotion and increased use of ethanol.

The presentation will be made at an event to celebrate the opening of Virginia's new state owned and operated E85 fuel dispensing facility. An announcement will also be made about plans to add new E85 ethanol fueling sites at retail locations in Virginia.
