SAE Names Thomas Drozda Director of Sales and Publishing

WARRENDALE, Pa., March 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Thomas (Tom) J. Drozda is the new Group Director of U.S. Corporate Sales and Publications for SAE International. Drozda joined SAE in 2005 as General Manager of Corporate Sales and Publisher.

Drozda will continue to direct SAE's domestic corporate sales unit, and serve as publisher of SAE's three industry magazines -- Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering International, and SAE Off-Highway Engineering. His new responsibilities include operational management of SAE's publications program, including book publishing and all print and electronic publishing of SAE Technical Papers and Standards. In addition, Drozda will join SAE's Staff Leadership Team, which provides strategic direction to the staff and organization.
Prior to joining SAE, Drozda held various executive-level sales and publishing positions at companies such as Chilton, Reed Business Information, and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He has extensive business experience in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors; including strategic planning, marketing and sales, and content development. He earned a bachelor's in industrial engineering at the University of Nebraska and an MBA from the University of Detroit. Drozda is a registered professional engineer.
