Total Parts Plus Chairman Resigns to Accept SBA Associate Administrator Appointment

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla., March 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Paul S. Hsu, former Chairman of the Board of Total Parts Plus, has been appointed as Associate Administrator for the Office of Government Contracting and Business Development for the U.S. Small Business Administration.

In this position, as Associate Administrator, Hsu will direct the implementation of policies within the Office of Government Contracting and Business Development, including the HUBZone Empowerment Contracting program, and the 8(a) Business Development program.
"Paul Hsu will be a great asset to the U.S. Small Business Administration," said President Keith Biggs. As the founder of many small businesses, Hsu has the experience and understanding of federal government contracting rules. Biggs also adds, "He's a man that thinks not only of himself and his companies but for the greater good of all those around him. This appointment is not just an honor for him but a responsibility to give back to the country he loves so much."

Hsu was born in Taiwan, and came to the United States in 1976. He obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Management and Systems Engineering from Central Missouri State University and a Ph.D. in Engineering Management from LaSalle University. In 1995, he completed a three-year Executive Educational Program at Harvard Business School.

While Chairman of the Board at Total Parts Plus the company maintained the industry's highest ratings in data quality and provided the necessary tools, data, and support to proactively manage board level components for production availability, manufacturer's alerts, alternate sourcing, life cycle predictions, EU and China RoHS compliancy, specialty metals analysis (Berry Amendment), and lead-free initiatives.
