Carlos Ghosn, President of Nissan & Renault to Discuss Alliances at the Detroit Economic Club

DETROIT, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- On Thursday, November 16, 2006, the Detroit Economic Club (DEC) is honored to host Carlos Ghosn, president & CEO of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. & Renault S.A. The meeting will be held at noon at the Cobo Center in Detroit, MI.
He will deliver a speech titled "Inside the Alliance: The Win-Win Nature of a Unique Business Model." In the 21st century, in a global economy, business alliances can produce competitive advantages and commercial success. The Renault-Nissan Alliance is a unique automotive industry business model that ensures separate management, separate corporate cultures and brand identities, and mutual benefits. Carlos Ghosn will provide insight into the Alliance's seven-year track record and future potential.

DEC was formed in 1934 as a platform for the discussion and debate of important business, government and social issues. It is known internationally as a top speaking forum for prominent business and government leaders, who address members and their guests at the Club's 35 meetings a season.
