For 2006, the legendary Z® receives many exterior, interior and mechanical changes, highlighted by an increase to 300 horsepower for all 6-speed manual transmission models (350Zs with 5-speed automatic transmission remain at 287 horsepower) and a new, advanced vehicle speed sensitive steering system. Despite the added features, the 350Z pricing increases only marginally, while the Touring M/T model decreases in price due to a realignment in the trim levels. Starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the 2006 350Z is $27,450 for the 350Z coupe model and $34,850 for the Enthusiast M/T roadster model. The 2006 350Z adds a new Grand Touring coupe model with all the features of the Touring model plus Vehicle Dynamic Control, Brembo® brakes, front and rear spoiler and new RAYS® super lightweight 18-inch front/19-inch rear 5-spoke forged alloy wheels (also standard on Track model). The Grand Touring model features a MSRP of $35,650 for the 6-speed manual transmission and $36,650 for the automatic transmission. The 2006 Nissan Frontier pickup, which was completely redesigned for 2005, adds several new and enhanced features, including a Power Package for the King Cab XE, chrome ring accents for meter gauges and chrome vent trim standard on NISMO and LE models, standard glove box lock and three new exterior colors. The Frontier is offered in both King Cab and Crew Cab body styles. The 2006 Frontier pricing increases only $200 to $500 depending on model. Starting MSRP for the Frontier King Cab XE with manual transmission is $15,800, while the King Cab NISMO 4WD model features a MSRP of $24,000. The Crew Cab features a starting MSRP of $20,850 for the SE with manual transmission, while the top-of-the-line NISMO Crew Cab 4WD model is $27,100. Pathfinder adds minor refinements in 2006, including the addition of a 6-disc autochanger to the SE Comfort Package, available leather-appointed seats on the SE model, available satellite radio, Desert Leather is available on the Off-Road model and a new exterior color – Majestic Blue. Pricing increases for the 2006 Pathfinder range from $400 to $600 reflecting a number of enhancements to the various trim levels’ standard equipment offerings. The value-priced 2WD S starts at a MSRP of $25,250. The LE model, which adds standard leather-appointed heated seats, wood-toned trim, Bose audio system, sunroof and 17-inch wheels, features a price of $33,350 for the 2WD model. The enhancements for the all-new second generation Xterra, introduced in 2005, included more power, more roominess and more utility compared to the previous generation. The 2006 Xterra continues to offer excellent off-road performance, 265-horsepower 4.0-liter V6. A new entry-level X model is available in 2006 and the Power Package becomes standard on S models. In addition, all Xterra models add a standard glove box lock, lamp and damper, available satellite radio, standard Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and a new Midnight Blue exterior color and new Charcoal interior color for off-road models. The 2006 Xterra pricing increase ranges from $300 to $1,300, again reflecting a number of enhancements to the various trim levels’ standard equipment offerings. The new Xterra X trim features a starting MSRP of $19,950, a $900 decrease from the 2005 starting price point. For the off-road enthusiast, the Xterra Off-Road 4WD model is $26,050, while the 4WD SE is $27,650. Complete pricing and option packages are available on the attached sheets.
