Following is a list of some of the Nissan Vehicles at the 2005 SEMA Show:

NISMO R-tune Altima
The NISMO R-tune Altima 2.5 S utilizes a full array of NISMO components tuned to the Altima’s advanced 4-cylinder engine. Modifications to the factory 2.5-liter engine include computer-designed camshafts that maintain low-end torque while increasing mid-range and top-end power; cold air intake positioned outside the engine bay for cooler, dense air; a performance header; and cat-back exhaust.

The R-tune Altima’s handling has been enhanced through use of stiffer shocks and springs, along with front and rear steel sway bars (24 mm front, 27 mm rear). The R-tune Altima rides on bronze 18x8.5-inch lightweight aluminum-alloy wheels with forged one-piece construction mounted with 235/45-18 Michelin Pilot Sports tires.

NISMO S-tune 350Z
The NISMO S-tune 350 Z’s acceleration has been enhanced thanks to a NISMO stainless steel cat-back exhaust system, which adds approximately six horsepower to the wheels and reduces weight by nine-pounds. The suspension has been treated with a 36mm front sway bar, 22mm rear sway bar, NISMO S-tune spring and shock kit, silver 18x8.5-inch (front) and 18x9.5-inch (rear) 5-spoke NISMO wheels and BFGoodrich KD 245/40-18 (front) and 275/40-18 (rear) tires.

NISMO Frontier
The 2006 NISMO Frontier includes a rugged suspension design, innovative factory-applied spray-on bedliner, Utili-track bed channel tie-down system and fully boxed, all-steel frame based on the Nissan Titan’s F-Alpha platform. The NISMO Frontier features a 4.0-liter DOHC V6 producing 265 horsepower* and 284 lb-ft of torque, aluminum block with cast iron cylinder liners, forged steel crankshaft, microfinished crankshaft and camshafts, Teflon®-coated pistons, Nissan variable Induction Control System (NICS) and Continuous Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS) silent two-stage timing chain. Exclusive for NISMO Frontier models are 16-inch off-road design aluminum-alloy wheels with 265/75R16 BFGoodrich Rugged Trail T/A tires and two interior colors – Blue and Charcoal.

Art Schmitt CORR Pro-Lite Frontier
Art Schmitt’s Pro-Lite Frontier is always a strong contender in the Champion Off-Road Racing (CORR) series. Powered by a 2.5-liter, 16-valve, 4-cylinder racing engine, the durable Frontier pumps out 298 horsepower at 8,200 rpm and 260 lb-ft torque at 6,200 rpm. Schmitt added to his long list of career victories with a win at this year’s Round Three Mole Lake Regency Casino Off-Road Championships in Antigo, Wisc.

American Flyer CORR Pro-2 Nissan Titan
Built by American Flyer Racing, the CORR Titan Pro-2 entry features a 715-horsepower, 5.6-liter V8 stock block engine with 510 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm, redlining at 8,200 rpm. Unlike many race engines, the block, cylinder heads, cam covers, water pump, main bearings, rod bearings, and ignition coils are all stock Titan components. The engine was prepared by Menards Engine Development.

2007 Nissan Versa
The all-new Nissan Versa hatchback and sedan are slated to join the Nissan lineup for the 2007 model year. The entry-level Versa is expected to have a MSRP starting at around $12,000. The hatchback model is scheduled to go on sale in early summer 2006, with the Versa sedan following in late 2006.

The design of both models places a priority on interior roominess, a high quality interior and a comfortable, stress-free environment. Every Versa will come with a standard 1.8-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine designed to satisfy both performance and environmental requirements. The all-new engine is rated at an estimated 120-horsepower and 125-plus lb-ft of torque (estimated). Fuel economy is estimated at a combined 38 miles per gallon with the available Nissan Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) transmission (final engine performance and fuel economy rating will be finalized closer to vehicle on-sale date).

On display at the SEMA show are two Japanese domestic models, which are sold under the name Nissan Tiida:

Ken Style Tiida
Ken Style has taken a Japanese domestic model Tiida and tuned it with aftermarket and Ken Style original parts, such as a Ken Style body kit that includes side skirts, front lip and rear half spoilers, Blitz NUR-Spec muffler, DAYZ front grille, Espelir active super-down springs and 18-inch Emotion CR wheels with Yokohama PARADA 224/40-18 tires.

Impul Tiida
The Impul Nissan Tiida has been fitted with a caliber of aftermarket parts manufactured by Impul that include a body kit, rear spoiler, exhaust muffler, wheels, coil over springs, shock absorbers and a high power computer control unit for a supercharger kit that adds 35-plus horsepower.

The following concept vehicles provide a glimpse of the innovative designs that take place at Nissan Design America, Inc.:

AZEAL Concept
The AZEAL design exercise was the first concept car created by Nissan Design America’s (NDA) Farmington Hills, Mich. studio. AZEAL features an aggressive body design with wide fender flares, short overhangs and a sharply sloped rear roofline with integrated active airfoil.
The interior combines a dark, industrial metallic instrument panel appearance contrasted by Wasabi Chartreuse fabric seats and an open greenhouse with glass-panel roof. AZEAL is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. It rides on 19-inch wheels and tires.

Actic Concept
The Nissan Actic concept vehicle, which made its world debut at the 2004 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, is a "content rich" design exercise created by Nissan Design America, Inc. (NDA) in La Jolla, Calif. The sleek, silver, bullet-shaped Actic features dual sliding side doors, a “cross trainer”-style wheel and tire design with tread-wrapped 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. It also includes items as simple as the small, handheld technology devices ranging from key fobs and PDAs to MP3 players and GPS systems.

NDA Airstream Trailer
The Airstream BaseCamp trailer concept made its worldwide debut at the 25th anniversary of Nissan Design America’s La Jolla, Calif. headquarters. Inspired by Airstream originator Wally Byam’s use of lightweight aluminum, the BaseCamp is a micro-light tent-trailer hybrid set to create a new standard in trailer travel. Designed by Nissan, it blends the convenience of RV travel with the versatility of car camping. The BaseCamp is the first of its kind, offering a whole new level of versatility, durability and comfort for today’s adventurer.

Dozens of other modified Nissan and Infiniti vehicles are also on display throughout the SEMA Show, including the Retina Searing Orange 350Z, the world’s only Z® to run a 6.0-second/200 mph quarter mile in competition (on display at the BorgWarner booth).
