Nissan North America Announces October Sales

GARDENA, Calif. (November 1, 2005) – Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) reported 72,279 total sales in October, posting a 13.3 decrease over last year. The Infiniti Division posted a 7.3 decrease in sales while the all-new Infiniti M posted strong sales and had its best October ever.
NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS

· October sales for Nissan-brand vehicles of 62,317 units were down 14.2 percent when compared to last year with 75,440 units sold
· Pathfinder (4,918 units sold) posted strong sales with sales up 58.7 percent.
· Calendar year-to-date sales are up 13.5 percent with 795,023 units sold

INFINITI HIGHLIGHTS

· Sales for Infiniti were down 7.3 percent from last October with 9,962 units sold
· The all-new M continued its strong sales momentum with 2,231 units sold
· Calendar year-to-date sales are up 6.3 percent with 113,182 units sold

NNA INFORMATION

· Calendar year-to-date sales are up 12.5 percent with 908,205 units sold
