Encouraged by successful market response to the Scénic Exception special edition released in 2006, Renault is following through with an even more attractive proposition in 2007, on Scénic and Grand Scénic (five- and seven-seat versions). This year’s Scénic Exception models come in a special dark carbon colour scheme and are based on the Dynamique equipment level. They cover all powertrain options across the Scénic and Grand Scénic lines, excepting the 100 hp 1.4 16v, 165 hp 2.0 Turbo and 85 hp 1.5 dCi engines. Scénic Exception will be released in October 2007, and priced just €500 higher than the standard Dynamique version.

High customer appreciation for the 2006 Scénic Exception special edition prompts Renault to repeat the initiative in 2007, with an even more attractive proposition, again based on the Dynamique version. This year’s Scénic Exception models offer the following additional features:
- Sliding central stowage unit
- Rear parking assistance
- Height-adjustable passenger seat

Interior styling boasts leather-featured upholstery in a dark carbon colour scheme.

Scénic Exception is available with a broad choice of powertrains:
Petrol
- 100 hp 1.6 16v with six-speed manual gearbox or four-speed automatic transmission (on
Scénic only)
- 135 hp 2.0 16v with six-speed manual gearbox or four-speed automatic transmission

Diesel
- 105 hp 1.5 dCi (with or without particulate filter) with six-speed manual gearbox (on
Scénic only)
- 130 hp 1.9 dCi (with or without particulate filter) with six-speed manual gearbox
- 130 hp 1.9 dCi (with particulate filter) with four-speed automatic transmission
- 150 hp 2.0 dCi (with or without particulate filter) with six-speed manual gearbox
- 150 hp 2.0 dCi (with particulate filter) with six-speed automatic transmission

With the 105 hp 1.5 and 150 hp 2.0 dCi engines, Scénic Exception achieves best-in-class figures for fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

True to New Scénic principles, the Exception special edition is one of the most competitive propositions on the market, priced at just €500 above the standard Dynamique version.

With its wealth of standard equipment, Scénic Exception offers a customer advantage averaging at 2.8%.
