Agreement extends Buick's relationship with West Coast event to 19 yearsDETROIT – Buick announced today that it will continue as title-sponsor of the Buick Invitational through the 2010 tournament. The PGA TOUR event has been played at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, Calif., since 1968. Phil Mickelson has won the tournament three times (1993, 2000 and 2003). The Buick Invitational dates for the next four years: January 22-28 (2007); January 21-27 (2008); Feb. 2-8 (2009); January 25-31 (2010).
