Porsche Design and adidas mark their eighth season of collaboration with the brand new Porsche Design Sport Fall/Winter 2010 collection. Once again the companies present a collection of engineered luxury sportswear that fuses leading-edge technology with an inherent commitment to refined style.

Making its debut in retail in July 2010, the Porsche Design Sport Fall/Winter 2010 range spans the categories Driving, Golf, Running/Fitness, Tennis, and Water/Snow. Each piece continues the legacy of these two eminent brands, a pure expression of their shared obsession for technical performance and modern elegance. The range utilizes the industrys most advanced technologies in concert with luxurious, exclusive materials, performance-enhanced details and impeccable craftsmanship.

The preeminent highlights of the Fall/Winter 2010 season include the Bounce:S² package, the GORE Comfort Mapping Jacket II and Pant and the Winter Drive shoe. The Bounce:S² capsule range of apparel, accessories and footwear embraces leading-edge engineering executed in premium finishes. Weatherproof exteriors and luxuriously soft next-to-skin interiors are married with an iconic mesh “exoskeleton inspired by the award-winning Bounce:S running shoe. Designed to perform in extreme winter conditions, the GORE Comfort Mapping Jacket II and Pant offer the ultimate in waterproof breathability. The technical garments target the bodys distinct climactic zones to strategically deliver sport-specific ventilation, comfort, warmth and fit. Sleek and elegant from the outside, highly functional from the inside is the new Winter Drive footwear item. Its performance features, such as the weather-resistant GORE-TEX membrane and tire-inspired outsole heighten pedal sensitivity while maximizing grip in wet and slippery conditions.

Porsche Design Sport continues a close collaboration with three-time Olympic sailing gold medalist and two-times America's Cup winner Jochen Schümann to test and develop its sailing range. Footwear highlights include the AC Bowman and AC Grinder, which combine agility, flexibility, durability and strength. Engineered to race with Schuemann and his team, the shoes are equipped with shock-absorbing adiPRENE and a sticky rubber outsole for wet deck traction.

The Porsche Design Sport collection hits retail worldwide in July 2010 and will be available in selected high-end boutiques, adidas Sport Performance Concept Stores and Porsche Design Stores.
