Atea 2006 Award for the SEAT Altea XL

Martorell, 27-02-2007 -- At the 14th edition of the Andalusian Television Viewers Association ATEA awards, SEAT’s “Power to the family” campaign featuring the SEAT Altea XL took first prize in the category of Best Commercial of 2006.

This latest recognition of the SEAT Altea XL after its recent launch is a further appreciation of the performance and trim level of an “oversized” car with one of the largest capacity boots in its category – 635 litres – which can safely handle all the needs of an “oversized” family.
This prize is a welcome addition to the long list of domestic and international advertising awards honouring SEAT in 2006.

Designed by the Barcelona advertising agency Atletic Internacional in 2006, the campaign centres on the Bible’s story of Noah’s Ark, symbolised by the SEAT Altea XL, which becomes a shelter for dozens of pairs of stuffed toys during a heavy storm before the Great Flood.

The Atea 2006 award ceremony will take place on 14 April in Seville, presided over by the president of the Andalusian Council and the Mayor of Seville.
