Years have practically left no mark on the Octavia Tour which appears as self-confident as it did on its first day. Outstanding too remains the manner in which this model complements the Škoda model range thanks to its unique price-value ratio. The hatch and estate versions of the car were introduced in 1996 and based on the first-generation Škoda Octavia. Since then they have managed to retain their attractiveness thanks to timeless elegance and high-quality workmanship at extraordinarily favourable prices.

As part of the Octavia facelift the seats of the New Octavia Tour have been upgraded with new seat cover colours tuned to the rest of the interior.

The vehicle also complies with CO2 regulations set by different countries and meets emission standards EU 4, EU 3 or EU 2.

The following engine range exists for the New Octavia Tour:
• 1.4 MPI 55 kW (75 bhp) – EU 4
• 1.6 MPI 75 kW (102 bhp) – EU 4/EU 2
• 1.8 20V Turbo 110 kW (150 bhp) – EU 4/EU 2
• 1.9 TDI 66 kW (90 bhp) – EU 3/EU 2
• 1.9 TDI PD 74 kW (101 bhp) – EU 4

The chassis of the New Octavia Tour is supported by an independent front suspension. The car sits on McPherson struts, has a lower wishbone, a torsion stabiliser and a space-saving semi-independent suspension at the rear. The rear features another torsion stabiliser to ensure grip and minimum roll of the chassis.

The standard equipment in the New Octavia Tour includes, among other things, a driver’s airbag, front seat belt pre-tensioners, power steering, asymmetric folding rear seats (60:40) and a height-adjustable driver’s seat. The cars can also be ordered with ABS, ASR, MSR and ESP. The New Octavia Tour can also be fitted with Xenon headlamps, Climate control air conditioning and alloy wheels to suit the driver’s individual comfort and style needs. The chassis of the New Octavia Tour meets all safety standards. The rigid passenger cell and deformation zones provide excellent protection in case of head-on, side and rear collisions.
