Skoda Auto Ranks Second Overall in Customer Satisfaction Survey

May 23, 2005 -- According to a new survey, Škoda drivers are among the most satisfied brand owners in Great Britain. Škoda Auto was ranked second overall for the second year running in the 2005 J.D. Power Survey of Customer Satisfaction in the United Kingdom. The Lexus brand placed first by the smallest margin of just one point. What’s more, this year marks the tenth year is succession that Škoda has remained in the Top 5 of all manufacturers.
With the Fabia and the Octavia being ranked joint fourth overall among all models in the survey, Å koda is the only brand to have two models in the top five. The Octavia model was rated tops in the Family Car category, also for the second consecutive year.

Škoda Auto was rated first among all manufacturers in the Ownership Costs portion of the survey. Moreover, Škoda Auto finished third in Service Satisfaction and fourth in Quality and Reliability. According to the results of the survey, 98 per cent of the Škoda car owners say they would recommend their car to a friend, and 94 per cent say they would buy another Škoda. Compared to the results of the previous year’s survey, Škoda’s rating in each of the areas under consideration has improved. Škoda Auto’s ranking at the top of the table is all the more valuable that it is the result of direct car owners’ evaluation on one of Europe’s most demanding car markets – in Great Britain.
